Arpeggios are playing a chord one note ot a time like the start of Led Zeppelins "Stairway to Heaven" or in this example of the song "House of The Rising Sun".

The song uses the following 5 chords; A minor, C major, D major, F major and E major. The sheet music below also outlines the picking patterns that go with the chord changes in music notation and tab.
